Celebration of Life 5K & Fireworks Festival
Fireworks festival (free) & 5K fun run & in Plainville, MA — June 20 | Enamel pin quest, collab pin with famous author's bookstore, live music, food trucks, games, auction, raffle, & more. All proceeds go to pediatric cancer research.
Join your neighbors at Field of Dreams in Plainville, MA on Saturday, June 20 for the 3rd Annual Celebration of Life Pin Fun Run & Fireworks Festival--
an evening of community, fun, and purpose unlike any other 5K or summer festival in the region.
This year's race introduces a first-of-its-kind collectible enamel pin experience built into the 5K route. Runners collect five exclusive enamel pins at checkpoints, each one a piece of a larger puzzle, each carrying its own name and story. Hidden among them:
rare variant pins only a handful of runners will find, including a limited-edition collaboration pin with An Unlikely Story, the beloved Plainville bookstore owned by Jeff Kinney, creator of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
The event runs 5–11 PM and includes live music, local food vendors, festival games, face painting, a foam pit (courtesy of the Plainville Fire Department), a Customization Station, auction, and raffle prizes -- closing with a professional fireworks finale by Ocean State Pyrotechnics, the crew behind Provincetown's Fourth of July show.
The fireworks are free and open to everyone. No registration required to come hang out and watch.
Every dollar raised funds CAR-T cancer clinical trials at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Seattle Children's Hospital.
Can't make it in person? Register remotely — run your own route June 20 and receive your pins and t-shirt by mail.
