Stony Brook Camera Club announces October programs
The Stony Brook Camera Club will continue its 2026-27 season in October with a series of competitions, educational programs and discussions for photographers of all experience levels.
The club meets Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. from September through June, with meetings held in person, virtually via Zoom or in a hybrid format. In-person meetings are held at the Anglican Church of the Redeemer, 195 Main St., Franklin.
October programs include:
Oct. 1: Member competition, Zoom only.
Oct. 8: Image Study, hybrid meeting.
Oct. 15: "The Art and Craft of Better Seeing," presented by John Tunney, Zoom only.
Oct. 22: "The Art of Abstraction," presented by Deb Loeb Bohren, Zoom only.
Oct. 29: "Lightroom Power Tools," presented by Rob Knight, Zoom only.
In addition to its regular meetings, the Stony Brook Camera Club sponsors photography activities, field trips and workshops throughout the year. Meetings also feature speakers, competitions and discussions on topics of general interest to photographers.
The club welcomes photographers of all skill and experience levels.
