Wrentham Cultural Council announces grant season, community events

Children, teens and families showed off their artistic talents at the Wrentham Cultural Council table during Wrentham Day on Sept. 12. Using acrylic markers on canvas, participants created colorful pieces of art that will soon be displayed at the Old Fiske Museum.

The museum continues to feature "Rooted in Wrentham," an exhibit celebrating local artists and the stories of the community. The exhibit is open Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. through Nov. 15.

Meanwhile, the Wrentham Cultural Council is accepting applications for its 2027 grant season through Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m.

Grants support programs in the arts, humanities and sciences that benefit the Wrentham community. This year, the council will also incorporate information gathered through a community survey conducted in the spring as it evaluates applications.

The council supports both new initiatives and established programs that serve the community.

Applications must be submitted through the Mass Cultural Council website: https://massculturalcouncil.org/. The Wrentham Cultural Council will review and vote on applications during its November and December meetings, with final grant decisions scheduled to be announced Jan. 15, 2027.
