Three King Philip Regional High School freshmen have been collecting gently used sports equipment for a free community giveaway at Norfolk Community Day on June 13.

Tyler Stafford, Braeden Crotty and Ryan Poska created TBR Sports Exchange, an effort aimed at giving used sports gear a “second season” by collecting donated equipment, cleaning it, and making it available to community members at no cost. Items collected include baseball and softball equipment, hockey skates, soccer and football cleats, tennis racquets, lacrosse sticks, golf clubs and gear bags.

On Norfolk Community Day, TBR Sports Exchange will have a booth under a blue tent with a TBR banner. Community members are invited to stop by and “shop” for equipment at no cost.
