King Philip DECA members earn honors at international conference
King Philip Regional High School’s DECA chapter earned multiple honors at DECA’s International Career Development Conference, held April 25-28 in Atlanta.
King Philip students were recognized as international finalists in several categories, including community awareness, community giving, sales project, innovation plan, international business plan and integrated marketing campaign product.
The chapter also earned top-five international finishes in business services operations research, startup business plan and international business plan, with one team placing second in buying and merchandising operations research and another taking first in startup business plan. One King Philip student also received a DECA Inc. scholarship and was recognized on stage in Atlanta.
According to DECA, more than 21,000 students competed for international honors at the conference.
