Norfolk Lions to host 35th annual Community Day on June 13

The Norfolk Lions Club will host its 35th annual Community Day on Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at WT Holmes Transportation, 22 Myrtle St., Norfolk. 

The family event will feature more than 50 local businesses, organizations and community groups, along with activities including bounce houses, touch-a-truck, a live reptile show, caricature drawings, a shark tooth exhibit, birdhouse building, children’s games, a pie-eating contest, a foam attraction and the Lions’ golf ball drop.

Entertainment throughout the day will include performances by Ivy Music Company, Exhale dancers, Medfield dancers, a talent show winner, a banjo band and a steel drum band. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Parking is $15 per car on the day of the event, or $12 in advance through the Norfolk Lions website at norfolklions.org.
