The Norfolk Lions, in conjunction with local organizations, are in the final planning stages for the 35th annual Norfolk Community Day, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holmes Complex, 22 Myrtle St.

Planned activities include an art show, touch-a-truck, Tom Antonellis’ birdhouses, Joe’s Crazy Critters, a golf ball drop, 50/50 raffle, bouncy houses, a pie-eating contest and an antique car show. Entertainment, music and dance groups are also scheduled.

Those interested in displaying artwork in the art show are asked to contact the Norfolk Lions at norfolkmalions.org by June 1.
