Trinity Church Wrentham Announces Holy Week Services and Spring Community Events

Trinity Church Wrentham has announced its schedule for Holy Week services and several upcoming community events this spring at the church, located at 47 East Street.

Holy Week observances will begin with a Maundy Thursday service on April 2 at 7 p.m., featuring an agape meal and handwashing. A Good Friday service will be held April 3 at 7 p.m., including prayers and communion from the reserved sacrament.

The church will celebrate Easter Sunday on April 5 at 10 a.m. with a service of Holy Eucharist.

Antiques Show and Tell

Trinity Church will host an Antiques Show and Tell on Saturday, April 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church.

Guy Trudel Jr. of Trudel’s Auctions in Bellingham will be present to explain and evaluate antiques brought by attendees. Participants may bring small treasures, artwork, or photos of larger items, and background stories about the items are welcome. Each attendee may have two items appraised.

An in-house antiques dealer will also bring some items to demonstrate what to look for when evaluating antiques. Attendees will have an opportunity to sell items to others if there is interest. The event will include appetizers and snacks.

A $5 donation per person at the door includes appraisal of two items.

Additional April Programs

The church’s Good Grief Support Group will meet on Sunday, April 19 at 4 p.m. in the parish hall with light refreshments. The non-denominational gathering is open to all. There will be no meeting on Easter Sunday, April 5.

A senior lunch will be served in the parish hall on Tuesday, April 14 at noon, preceded by a healing service at 11:30 a.m. in Trinity’s Chapel.

Beginner bridge sessions continue on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and new members are welcome.
