The Norfolk Grange invites residents of all ages to celebrate Earth Day by participating in Norfolk’s 17th Annual Clean & Green Town-wide Cleanup on Saturday, April 25.

The annual event encourages volunteers to help beautify the community by removing litter from roadways and public places throughout town. Participants may collect trash at any time during the week leading up to the event, as well as on April 25 itself. Volunteers are asked to attest that the materials collected are not from household waste.

Collected litter and recyclables may be dropped off at the Norfolk Grange Hall, 28 Rockwood Road, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on April 25. Volunteers who are unable to transport their litter or larger items may request pickup at their cleanup site by contacting Kevin Roche at 508-328-5604. Lions Club volunteers will assist with pickups on April 25.

Participants may also pick up volunteer certificates documenting their community service during drop-off hours at the Grange Hall.
