Trinity Church in Wrentham has announced a variety of upcoming worship services and community events for March and the Lenten season.

Pi Day Celebration

Trinity Church will celebrate Pi Day on Saturday, March 14, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the church parish hall. The Parish Life Team will serve savory shepherd’s pie, pizza pie, and chicken pot pie, along with a selection of sweet pies. While enjoying the food, attendees can watch “Casablanca” on the big screen TV. Advance registration is required by emailing [email protected].

Worship and Lenten Services

Sunday services with Eucharist are held at 11 a.m., followed by coffee hour. During Lent, Compline services will be conducted in the church sanctuary by the Spiritual Life Team on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on March 4, 11, 18, and 25.

The Holy Week schedule includes:

• Palm Sunday (March 29), 11 a.m.

• Stations of the Cross: Tuesday (March 31), 7 p.m.

• Maundy Thursday (April 2), 7 p.m., with Agape Supper and handwashing

• Good Friday (April 3), 7 p.m.

• Easter Sunday (April 5), 11 a.m., Service of Holy Eucharist

Support and Fellowship Opportunities

The Good Grief support group will meet on the first and third Sundays, March 1 and 15, at 4 p.m. in the parish hall with light refreshments.

A Senior Lunch will be served in the parish hall on Tuesday, March 10, at noon, preceded by a Healing Service in Trinity’s Chapel at 11:30 a.m.

Beginner bridge sessions continue on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and new members are welcome.

Yard Sale Donations

Donations are now being accepted for Trinity’s annual giant yard sale, to be held in June. Items such as books, jewelry, small toys, puzzles, kitchen gadgets, and other “white elephant” items in good condition are welcome. To schedule a drop-off or pickup, call the church office at 508-384-3958 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
