A holiday Toy Drive benefiting Gifts for Kids is underway now through December 9 to help brighten the season for children and families in need across Norfolk County and nearby communities.

Residents are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys, which will be distributed to children identified by local human service providers.

Donations can be dropped off at Lakeland Hills, 63 Thomas Mann Circle, Norfolk during the following times:

• Tuesdays: 10 a.m. to noon

• Saturdays: Noon to 2 p.m.

• Sundays: Noon to 2 p.m.

Community members are also invited to an Evening of Giving on Wednesday, December 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the same location. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and the spirit of the season while supporting Gifts for Kids.

Founded in 1990, Gifts for Kids has grown from serving 25 children to supporting more than 1,200 children each year. The all-volunteer nonprofit ensures that 100% of donations go directly to children in need.
