Final Year Under Club’s Leadership

The Franklin Newcomers and Friends Club is pleased to announce that its 50th annual Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tri-County High School in Franklin. Admission is $3 for attendees over 12 years old.

This year’s craft fair will feature close to 70 artisans, offering a wide variety of handmade goods. Shoppers can also enjoy the club’s popular bake sale and raffle tables, located near the entrance. All proceeds from the event will be donated to local charitable organizations. In addition, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishables for the Franklin Food Pantry.

This year’s fair marks a bittersweet milestone. It will be the final event organized by the Franklin Newcomers and Friends Club. However, the tradition will live on — the Rotary Club of Franklin will take the reins of the annual event.

“Many of our members were heartbroken at the thought of this being the last craft fair,” said the club’s leadership. “We are thrilled to pass the baton to another local charitable organization whose values and mission align so closely with ours. Many of us will likely continue to volunteer at future fairs.”
