The Charles River Chorale is pleased to welcome new members for its 41st season of music-making. 

A non-audition, 100-member community ensemble, the Chorale will host open rehearsals on September 16, 23, and 30, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Church of Christ, 142 Exchange Street, Millis. These introductory sessions provide an opportunity for those new to choral singing—or returning after time away—to experience the joy of making music in a welcoming, no-obligation setting.

Music Director Ashley Nelson-Oneschuk, now in her 11th year leading the Chorale, was recently elected to the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Hall of Fame for 2025. Reflecting on her approach, Nelson-Oneschuk shared, “My focus is on cultivating a joyful community first, with excellent musical experiences as the vessel to achieve this.”

The season will culminate in a concert on Sunday, December 7 at 2 p.m. at Medway High School.
