Online and In-Person Programs for Youth and Adults

Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) announces new online classes to join the roster of in-person programs set to take place this summer beginning in late June. 

Virtual classes will be available for youth in art, dance, theater, movie-making, and ceramics. On-site summer programs taking place at 98 Hayden Rowe St. in Hopkinton will run at a limited capacity for kids (ages 7 and up) in art, dance, and theater and for adults in ceramics, ballet, contemporary, and strength. 

Safety measures are being put in place that will reflect the Massachusetts state guideline recommendations for re-opening. Need-based partial and full scholarships are available. Class information, registration, and safety guidelines can be found online at www.hopartscenter.org.

“Our artist-instructors are working hard to ensure a fun, safe, and creative summer for all our students,” said Kelly Grill, HCA Co-Director. “And for those who can’t be with us in-person we have a number of wonderful new classes that can be taken from the comfort of their home.”

Serving individuals of all ages, cultures, and abilities across the MetroWest region, the Hopkinton Center for the Arts develops artistic skills, offers outstanding performances and exhibitions, and enables visitors to experience art in all forms. Under one roof, we celebrate art through classes and events in visual art, theater, music, dance, ceramics, writing, and film.

The HCA annually offers over 200 classes to more than 1,000 students, from preschool to seniors, drawn from more than 200 cities and towns in Massachusetts. In 2015 the HCA opened its new arts center, with newly renovated classrooms, a 200-seat performance space, and gallery spaces. The Delbridge Family Performance Space and the Lotvin Family Gallery annually present dozens of productions and exhibitions.
